JSC Uztadbirkorexport was renamed into Uztrade
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution on May 25, 2017 "On additional measures to increase the efficiency of JSC Uztadbirkorexport.
According to the decree, JSC Uztadbirkorexport was renamed into the specialized foreign trade company Uztrade.
The Company provides assistance to small and private businesses (MFB), dehkan and farm enterprises in the sale of their products for export.
In particular, JSC "Uztadbirkorexport" renders comprehensive assistance to the subjects of the MICEX in the search and finding of buyers, certification and product registration in accordance with the requirements of a foreign buyer, registration of banking, customs and other documents.
Uztadbirkorexport actively works to develop the electronic trading platform Uztrade, where domestic products are positioned and positioned, including products of the MICEX subjects, indicating parameters such as price, type (type), terms of delivery, and other characteristic product characteristics .
The decision to rebrand the company was made with the aim of ensuring broad positioning of the company abroad, forming the image of a reliable and stable company in foreign markets, expanding the circle of foreign partners.
The head of Uzbekistan also expanded the functions of Uztrade. The company will now study the supply and demand in foreign markets and on this basis the development of proposals for placing orders for the production of finished competitive products.
The company will carry out modern projects on production, storage and processing of products together with small businesses. It will also assist small business entities in product certification, holding promotional events, organizing their participation in international fairs and exhibitions, informational and consulting support for exporting products.
Uztrade JSC will assist dekhkan and farm enterprises in promoting export of processed fruit and vegetable products (except for fresh ones).
Enterprises belonging to Uztrade JSC will perform the functions of its regional operator (branch) in the regions of the republic and carry out the consolidation of orders by purchasing products of the MChS subjects and organize their centralized export.
One of the main tasks of Uztrade JSC is to assist in the promotion of the products of the MChS subjects in the regions of the republic. Ensuring the full implementation of the tasks assigned, requires the establishment of enterprises with the necessary export infrastructure (production, storage and administrative facilities, etc.), the organization of systematic and focused work in the field.
Uztrade JSC was entitled to export wheat and flour on consignment terms through the company's trading houses abroad. The company can ship products on consignment terms to trading houses with a consolidated share of the organizations of the republic (including JSC Uztrade), at least 51%.
